Yes, it’s true, I wrote a book about females being limited to 100 words per day (or else!). But here’s what I really think, and what frightens me far more than the prospect of having my words counted by a bracelet:
What if we stopped children from acquiring language? What if we forced them to miss that oh-so-important critical period? What, if Jean McClellan isn’t successful, would the world look like in another two generations?
